Calling all crime writing fans: Claire Serves Murder for Lunch!
Got time to kill at lunch? Then make a date to pop along to the meeting room in reception at Skypark 1 on Thursday 15th November!
Hailing from a sparkling international background in TV, film and theatre, we welcome Glasgow-based crime writer Claire Duffy, who is serving Murder for Lunch, a quirky take on a book reading and writing workshop, that offers a twist on the usual soup and sarnie!
Claire says: “Murder for Lunch is quirky fun event that is very easy to come along to, listen and enjoy – people are welcome to drop in and drop out when it suits and bring in their lunch! I’ll be discussing the background of my ‘Dark of Night’ series and how it has progressed through four books, how it was inspired by an anecdote about a date with Ted Bundy and why Glasgow is the main character. I’ll also read a couple of extracts from the book.
“I am really looking forward to meeting people and encouraging new writing talent. I can answer any questions about writing, self-publishing or crime fiction offering tips and pointers to those looking to develop a career in crime writing, one of the most popular genres in Scotland.”
To book a place at ‘Murder for Lunch’ on 15th November, please email Loraine. Spaces are allocated in 20 minute slots, on a first come, first served basis.
