Social Media Week in September was a smashing success in 12 cities across the world, and Skypark enjoyed being the main host venue for Glasgow. The week brought a packed conference schedule and hundreds of guests to Skypark - from politicians to peace campaigners, keen PR professionals to the general public. The real questions is what did Social Media Week think of us?
"Skypark was the perfect location for Social Media Week Glasgow. Apart from the benefits of the flexible space and views, it also has terrific connectivity and transport. Everything is on site and you couldn't want for more helpful staff, they really know what "can do" means.
Social Media Week is about partnership and collaboration and that is what we experienced. We couldn't have wanted for a better partner. We had hundreds of attendees through the week and some folks hadn't been to Skypark before and it was noticeable how it really opened the eyes of a lot of delegates as they came to some of the key note events that took place at Skypark. They recognised it for what it is, prime location, top facilities and a great place to do business."
- Tim Wright, Director - Twintangibles, Co-Producer of SMWk Glasgow
For a glimpse into a great week, the video from Nokia below really captures the spirit, as well as the one-of-a-kind vending machine that lived in our foyer during the event. Said machine was quite a hit, dispensing 'surprises' such as sweeties and even some Nokia E7 smartphones!
